When designing the first debut collection for Choix, I absolutely wanted to offer a dress for moms to feel confident in, no matter the occasion: from wedding, meeting, vacation or a casual brunch while having the option to easily nurse bébé or pump.
During our maternity & paternity leaves, we traveled to Bali and I was exclusively breastfeeding our son. I got inspired when I saw many women wearing a wrap dress. I got one myself in Ubud market but the quality and fit wasn’t great.
A well-made wrap dress is supposed to flatter many body types but the fabric matters a lot as well. We spent a few months perfecting the cut and testing the samples on many mothers. I went back and forth on various fabrics until finding a beautiful luxuryCupro that feels velvety.
